How to Know Your UAN Number Without PF Number using your Aadhaar or PAN Card

If you are an Employee Provident Member in that case you must have UAN (Universal Account Number) in which all your Provident Fund related details available.

EPFO have created a Unified Member Portal from there you can login on your UAN and you can see all EPF related details like your Basic Details, Nominee Details, KYC completed or not, Bank details and also you can see your PF amount by downloading EPF Passbook.

But many of Employee Provident Member's don't know their UAN No.. So in this article you will get to know How to know your UAN Number Online with your Aadhaar Card or PAN Card. Also you will get to know how to check UAN status (Active/Inactive).

Before I start these process I would like to caution you if your aadhaar or PAN is not linked with your UAN you will be not able to find your UAN no. or UAN status told you below. 

I would request before you try these step first ask your UAN no. to your employer or see your salary slip in that also you can find your UAN no. easily as many of the employer put UAN no. in salary slips too.

How to Know Your UAN Number Without PF Number :To know your UAN number online follow these steps 

1. Go to the website of EPFO or  click here Unified Member Portal of EPF 

2. Click on the Activate UAN as shown in figure below:

  3. Again a New window will come as shown in figure below, IF you Don’t know your UAN and PF no. put your Aadhar or PAN no. linked with EPF to know your UAN details.

4. After Choosing  and Entering Aadhaar Number or Pan  Number you have to enter        following fields details : 
i. Name 
ii. Date of Birth 
iii. Mobile No. 
iv. Email ID (optional) 
v. Captcha as shown in figure.

5. After Entering the details you have to click on  “Get Authorization Pin. You will receive a OTP as shown in figure below. Also you have to Click on check box I Agree and enter the received OTP. Than Click on  Validate OTP and Activate UAN.

Click on  Validate OTP and Activate UAN.

6. Now You will receive a sms with your UAN number and Status of your UAN.
